The Weston Village BIA, established in 1979, is one of the oldest BIA’s in Toronto. Situated in the north-west end of Toronto minutes from both the 401 & 400 highways, it is next to the Humber River with its extensive bike trail and walking paths. The Village has a rich and storied history dating back to the late 1700’s with many historical buildings still remaining including the beautiful Carnegie-built Weston Library.
The business area reflects the cultural diversity of the surrounding community and consists of an eclectic mix of over 250 stores, services and professional offices. Included in that mix are three businesses that are over or close to 100 years old! And, we are proud of our many second-generation business owners who are committed to this community.
With a revitalized GO train service and new station, along with the new Union-Pearson Express, Weston Village is minutes away from both Union Station and Pearson Airport. As well, several redevelopments are in the works for Weston to bring new spaces and density to the neighbourhood. Weston Village and the BIA are looking forward to a period of great growth. Why not join us?
The BIA hosts several events throughout the year including the much beloved Weston Farmers’ Market, which has been operating for over forty years. To celebrate the coming of the winter solstice and holiday season, we are also proud to host the 3-day inclusive Weston Winterfest for all the community to enjoy. More information about our events can be found on our website.
