Sheppard East Village BIA was formed in early 2007, to help market the businesses and professional offices located on and near Sheppard Avenue East from Midland Avenue to Markham Road.
Our BIA includes part of the Agincourt district and offers a selection of restaurants and retailers that have existed for many years, including several small indoor shopping malls, one of Toronto’s largest Canadian Tire stores, three modern automobile dealerships, seven banks and a variety of auto-related services, other businesses and professional offices. Our BIA also includes many newer restaurants and shops, meeting a variety of customer interests at a range of price points.
A cross-section of the ethnic groups that make up the city of Toronto are represented in our BIA. There are many Chinese shops and popular restaurants in the west end of our BIA. Other area businesses and restaurants offer authentic food and goods from Europe, South Asia, the Philippines and other parts of Asia, as well as North America.
Sheppard East Village is conveniently located in the northeast sector of Toronto – close to Highway 401 and not far from the Don Valley Parkway.
Sheppard East Village enjoys good bus service on 5 major streets – Markham, McCowan, Brimley, Midland and Sheppard – that also link our shopping area to the Sheppard, Yonge-University and Bloor-Danforth Subways.
